Bloodhound Appoints Craig Klein New Senior Vice-President of Sales and Marketing
Columbus, OH and Research Triangle Park, NC (March 9, 2006) – Bloodhound Technologies, a leading provider of claims editing and business analytics to healthcare payors, today announced the appointment of Craig Klein as its new Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.Craig is a veteran sales, marketing, and operations executive with more than 20 years experience in the healthcare industry.

Craig comes to Bloodhound from Companion Technologies, a fully owned subsidiary of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. Companion Technologies is a leading provider of integrated healthcare software solutions for physician practice management, electronic medical records, and claims management. Craig most recently served as Officer in Charge of Companion PM with responsibility for all sales, operations, product development and implementations. As Officer in Charge, Craig successfully re-organized the division, achieving positive financial results while releasing a new product into the marketplace. Prior to that Craig built a national presence for Companion as Chief Marketing Officer, heading up all sales and marketing. During Craig’s seven-year tenure at Companion and four years at Dataflow Companies (a Companion subsidiary) he achieved impressive sales growth for those organizations. Before joining Companion, Craig held sales and sales management positions at Versyss, a WebMD company and Proctor and Gamble. Craig received bachelor’s degrees in Business and Accounting from Marietta College.
